These places exist, we know them and we avoid them. Thankfully lesser known, are the vast stretches of wilderness making up a significant part of Kenya. Much Kenya's wildlife exists outside of the Kenya National Parks. It's this hidden side of Kenya that we aim to show you.

Kenya isn't quite as large as neighbouring Tanzania but, deeply scored by the Great Rift Valley, it's home to dramatic and diverse scenery,

from the lush plains of the Maasai Mara to the semi arid country of Shaba and the Northern Frontier District. While a safari in Kenya will expose you to some of Africa's best wildlife and wilderness, it's also about embracing a spirit that has infected everyone from the first settlers to arrive here; an intoxication and sense of liberation from the mundane side of life. People know how to have fun here, which is probably why Kenya offers such a number of safari activities from game drives and walking safaris, to camel safaris and some of Africa's most exciting riding safaris.
