Natural High Safaris was started by ourselves, Alex and Harriet Edwards, after more than 10 years living and working in some of the wildest and remotest parts of the East African bush.

During this time we have had the great fortune to indulge our passion for wildlife and we've had extensive experience of planning, creating and running safari itineraries whilst running some of East Africa's best safari camps. We've worked as manager, booking agent, safari guide and bush pilot.

We offer you our unrivalled local knowledge and experience, and our extensive support network in East Africa. We promote a sustainable form of tourism, not one that might ultimately contribute to the destruction of the places that have so captured our own imagination. So wherever possible our aim is to get you away from the crowds and into the wilderness, in camps that compliment rather than dominate their surroundings.

And let's face it, we want you to have enormous fun. This is a vibrant and dynamic continent, so as well as game drives, we give you the chance to walk, ride, boat, or if you like, to just sit and watch. We want you to feel Africa, rather than just see it pass by your car window at 40 mph.

These days we work very closely with the owners of the best safari camps in East Africa. These are people we know well and trust, and they and their products form the basis of our recommendations to you. While we create your itinerary, we are happy to copy you in on correspondence with them as we go along.
