Kicheche Tent View Comfortable Camps

Kicheche Camp has a modest style, with its roots in the traditional tented camps of East Africa. Like many Kenyan camps the traditional origins have been given a contemporary twist, and while décor is far from elaborate, Kicheche has a comfortable well designed look and feel.

There are two central tented areas at Kicheche Mara which are comfortable, but perhaps a little cramped if the camp is full. The mess tent is one of the few areas (with the honeymoon tent) which has a real view. This looks out to large hills in the middle distance and helps to restore a sense of space which is otherwise somewhat lacking. The dining tent sits in amongst the trees just behind this, so again, plenty of shade but no view.

Bathrooms at Kicheche Mara are ensuite, with proper showers, filled from a bucket outside.
